MAKING CHANGES FOR RHODE ISLAND
Diapers and adult incontinence products, like food, shelter and health care, are a basic need. Unfortunately, they are expensive and cannot be purchased with Food Stamps or WIC assistance. The goal of the RIDB is to increase the supply of new disposable diapers available for individuals and families in need in Rhode Island.
The Rhode Island Diaper Bank was formed in 2006 by a group of mothers concerned about the welfare of Rhode Island’s young children and elderly. Through partnerships with established aid organizations such as food pantries and social service agencies, the Rhode Island Diaper Bank distributes diapers and adult incontinence products to children, disabled and elderly residents throughout the state.
